A 45-year-old homeowner was shoveling their driveway when they were struck and thrown by a snowplow suffering multiple injuries.
Our client was outside shoveling snow from her driveway, working to clear the area around her mailbox to ensure safe access for her mail carrier since it was set back from the road. As she was finishing the task, she noticed a snow plow truck approaching normally down the road. Without warning, the vehicle veered off it's path and struck her in her yard. She regained consciousness later in the hospital. As a result of the incident, she suffered serious injuries, including a concussion with loss of consciousness, facial fractures, a lumbar spine fracture, a puncture wound to her leg, cracked teeth, a hematoma, and ongoing vertigo.
