I 93S Backed up in Traffic April 29, 2019
On April 29, 2019 at about 8:15 am, I-93S backed up with traffic in response to a motor vehicle accident that occurred on the Milton town line. An entire wheel lay against the median, separate from the most damaged car. Two other cars were at a complete stop with damages as well. Rush hour is the busiest time to drive in most cities. Drive defensively and exercise safety at all times for both yourself and other drivers on the road.
What to do in a Car Accident
Check for safety. Immediately after getting in a car accident, you may be in shock. First, gather your bearings, and call 911. If you are in pain, don’t move, and wait for emergency response to come to the scene.
Don’t move your vehicle. After the initial shock of the incident, you may feel obligated to get out of the way of other drivers. If you move your vehicle, you are erasing evidence. A traffic violation may have caused the crash that will no longer be noticeable. Take pictures of the aftermath as a record and move if you have to afterward.
Insurance Information. Make sure that you have your car insurance available and that you ask other involved parties for their information.
Incident report. When an officer arrives on the scene, make sure that an incident report is filled out.
Find legal assistance. To ensure that you are getting the representation and compensation you deserve, seek out experienced legal assistance.
