According to Mass Lawyers Weekly, Keches Law Group and Attorney Andrew Abraham achieved Massachusetts’ largest verdict for 2020.
In a year that was dominated by the pandemic with limited trial activity, Keches Law Group was still able to successfully try and win $1 million for an injured cyclist.
On Oct. 10, 2017, the plaintiff was riding his bicycle on Route 1 North at the Saugus/Peabody area on his way to work. Where the on-ramp to I-95 North intersects with Route 1, he got off his bike, walked up the on ramp and waited for traffic to clear the right three lanes of the road. He then jogged his bike across the road, while a vehicle being driven in the far left lane of Route 1 cut across 2 lanes of traffic and struck him. The accident resulted in severe arm and shoulder injuries resulting in ongoing medical treatment.
The plaintiff was represented by Andrew Abraham.
