Tambi\u00e9n pueden padecer una combinaci\u00f3n de afecciones que se ajusten a la definici\u00f3n de discapacidad de la Seguridad Social para los ni\u00f1os. La discapacidad del ni\u00f1o debe ser tan grave que tenga limitaciones funcionales en seis \u00e1reas distintas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Adquisici\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n<\/li><li>Atender a las tareas<\/li><li>Interacci\u00f3n con los dem\u00e1s<\/li><li>Mover generalmente o manipular objetos<\/li><li>Cuidar de s\u00ed mismos<\/li><li>Salud y bienestar<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El solicitante que sea un ni\u00f1o tiene la carga de demostrar que tiene limitaciones graves (marcadas) en dos de los seis \u00e1mbitos enumerados anteriormente. Suponiendo que el ni\u00f1o est\u00e9 escolarizado, la Administraci\u00f3n considerar\u00e1 favorablemente los PEI y otra documentaci\u00f3n sobre las dificultades con la educaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Si su hijo est\u00e1 discapacitado y usted tambi\u00e9n tiene dificultades econ\u00f3micas, puede solicitar la ayuda del SSI. En caso de que le aprueben, sus pagos de SSI se mantendr\u00e1n mientras su hijo est\u00e9 discapacitado y tenga recursos limitados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La SSA har\u00e1 que uno de los padres o tutores rellene un <em><strong>Solicitud de Seguridad de Ingreso Suplementario<\/strong><\/em>.
