Su salario medio semanal se determina sumando el salario del a\u00f1o anterior y dividi\u00e9ndolo entre 52 semanas. Si ha trabajado para su empleador menos de un a\u00f1o pero m\u00e1s de unas pocas semanas, basta con sumar el importe total que ha recibido durante todo el periodo de su empleo y dividirlo por el n\u00famero total de semanas que ha trabajado. Al sumar las semanas, es importante tener en cuenta que las horas extraordinarias, las comisiones adicionales y otros beneficios se incluyen en su salario medio semanal; no se limita a una semana est\u00e1ndar de 40 horas.
