A 45-year-old ironworker who was with the Union for 16 years was injured on the job after experiencing a dangerous fall down an elevator shaft. The plaintiff was found unconscious and suffered a laceration on the back of his skull. The injured worker had several fractures and lacerations and was put into a full-body cast. The employee became disabled on September 19, 2013.
