Steven I. Bergel
Attorney Steven Bergel has specialized in personal injury law for more than 30 years, including motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-falls, workers’ compensation, and Social Security disability. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst in 1982 and received his Juris Doctorate degree from Suffolk University Law School in 1985. Attorney Bergel served on the Law Review and graduated cum laude. He is a member of the Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Florida Bar Associations and of the U.S. District Courts of Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Attorney Bergel is a zealous advocate for his clients and is well known and respected by the numerous judges before whom he has appeared. He has spoken at several seminars on workers’ compensation sponsored by the Massachusetts Bar Association and National Business Institute. Attorney Bergel served for many years on the Board of the Massachusetts Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health (“MassCOSH”) where he advocated for safe and secure jobs for workers throughout the state. Attorney Bergel is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation and an Adjunct Professor at Suffolk Law School where he teaches a course on workers’ compensation. He is married with three children.
